To ensure you can fully embrace the power of the Yoshinoya brand within your franchise, our experienced Yoshinoya Franchise staff will provide guidance on site development and project construction.
No one knows your community better than you do, so you choose your own franchise location. We provide you our site model guideline. Once you have selected a site, simply submit your site proposal to Yoshinoya for approval.
Most Yoshinoya franchisees will be given an exclusive territory with about a one-mile radius. Locations in central business district areas may result in territories of reduced size. Yoshinoya also offers Area Development Agreements for multiple restaurants and exclusive territories.
Although Yoshinoya does not offer direct financing as a company, we may be able to refer you to a third-party for assistance in obtaining funding.
Our goal is to give you the tools you need to assist you in building a business from day one. Your Yoshinoya franchise training includes 1 week of extensive, on-site initial training for yourself at our training headquarters in Torrance, California, six weeks for your lead kitchen personnel and 12 weeks for your front of house store manager. Training includes up to four persons.
During your first week of business operations, a Yoshinoya Franchise Operations staff member will work with you and your staff at your location to solidify your operational, quality and customer service methods.
We help you stay abreast of new developments by providing addtional training. Examples could include new equipment, menu and operational training.
Yoshinoya’s experienced field staff will regularly visit your location to evaluate your progress and suggest positive operations, profitability and marketing improvements.

As a Yoshinoya franchise owner, you will be supported by marketing to promote brand awareness and sales. Franchisees and company restaurants contribute toa fund for this purpose.
